A good number of women in India are victims of all sorts of discriminations. Samagra Vikas gives due importance to women-related issues and capacitates them to address the challenges of day-to-day living. It is an underlying fact that if one women is empowered, the entire family would be empowered. Nurturing of Self-help Groups of women, promotion of leadership qualities, creating confidence to initiate and manage micro enterprises and regular capacity-building training programmes are some of the interventions aimed at women empowerment.
