Tsunami Rehabilitation Project is a major project undertaken by Samagra Vikas to provide relief and rehabilitation to the victims of tsunami at Arattupuzha in Alappuzha. This project is in partnership with BMZ, Karl Kuebel Stiftung of Germany and the CMI Congregation. The primary objective is the reconstruction of the habitats and sustainable socio-economic development of the fishermen families directly affected by the Tsunami 2004. We are also entrusted with a new project to construct 500 pakka houses at Arattupuzha for the tsunami-affected families by the Government of Kerala in collaboration with Government of India.
